The Centre for Youth and International Studies (CYIS) ASBL has launched on the 30th of September 2020.
The Centre was founded in Brussels by Andrei I. Cursaru, together with Rebecca Gaff and Stefano Consoli as a voluntary, youth-orientated and non-partisan think-tank with a strong in-house research capacity of exceptional team international young professionals.
On November 30th, CYIS was officially registered as an NGO in Brussels (0759.427.153).
What has started with a team of young professionals from the Blue Book Traineeship at the European Commission and now encompasses and international and diverse team from Europe and the Americas. The team is international in composition, perspective, and reach.
The Centre works together with the brightest young minds, CYIS generates independent, fact-based, solution-oriented and objective insights on emerging cross-dimensional and regional threats.
With a mandate until 2030, the Centre is committed to solving youth vulnerabilities with innovative and sustainable solutions. The Centre's strategic objectives to solve emerging threats are rooted in its 15 Sustainable Youth Goals.
